Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) inaugurated several structural officials within the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) for the 2026–2030 term. The officials appointed include Heads of Study Programs, Secretaries of Study Programs, Heads of Laboratories, and the Head of Administration.
The inauguration was held simultaneously with the appointment of structural officials from other faculties within UNIDA as part of efforts to strengthen the university’s academic and organizational governance. The event took place on Friday (March 13, 2026) at the Hall of Building C, UNIDA.
The structural officials from FISIP who were inaugurated include the Head and Secretary of the Communication Science Study Program, the Head and Secretary of the Public Administration Study Program, the Head of the Communication Science Laboratory, the Head of the Public Administration Laboratory, as well as the Head of Administration for the 2026–2030 term.
The Dean of FISIP UNIDA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si., stated that the inauguration serves as an important momentum to strengthen synergy and organizational performance within the faculty. According to her, leadership at the study program and academic unit levels plays a strategic role in encouraging the improvement of higher education quality.
“This inauguration is both a mandate and a trust that must be carried out with full responsibility. We hope that the appointed officials will bring innovation in managing the study programs, strengthen collaboration, and continuously improve the quality of academic services for students,” she said.
She added that FISIP UNIDA remains committed to developing the quality of education, research, community service, professionalism, and tauhid values through strengthening institutional governance and improving performance.
“Through new leadership at the study program and academic support unit levels, FISIP UNIDA is expected to further encourage the development of knowledge in the fields of social and political sciences while producing graduates who are excellent, competent, adaptive, and competitive,” she added.
In line with this, the Chairman of the Yayasan Pusat Studi Pengembangan Islam Amaliyah Indonesia (YPSPIAI), Prof. Uman Suherman AS, M.Pd., emphasized that strengthening leadership at the study program and academic unit levels is an important factor in advancing the institution. He invited all appointed officials to maintain professionalism and a strong spirit of dedication in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them.
“The role of leaders at the unit level greatly determines the success of implementing various strategic policies of the university. Therefore, synergy, discipline, and shared commitment must continue to be maintained so that the grand vision of Universitas Djuanda can be realized sustainably,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Acting Rector of UNIDA, Prof. Dr. Hj. Endeh Suhartini, S.H., M.H., emphasized in her remarks that each appointed official holds a strategic responsibility in driving work programs and maintaining the quality of academic services in their respective units as part of efforts to increase New Student Admissions (PMB).
“The positions entrusted are not merely structural roles, but a mandate to provide the best contribution to the advancement of the university. I hope that the appointed officials will work with integrity, in a collaborative manner, and be able to bring innovation in managing study programs and work units, particularly in our collective efforts to improve new student admissions,” she stated.
