Drs. Denny Hernawan, MA (Lecturer of FISIPKOM) Tasbih Assembly, Friday, June 24, 2022 Politics is power, politics is power, or all politics is about power, said Andrew Heywood when talking about "Power, Authority and Legitimacy". So is the essence of the book written by Harold Lasswell's, with the title "Politics: Who Gets What, When, How" (1936), who gets what, when, and how. In other words, politics is who gets power, when power is obtained, and how to obtain power. Current phenomena show that the political process occurs because of the "hurt movement." It is likely that the mockers and abusers in this country are people who have political trauma, whether they have been fired from their positions or a group of people who can no longer be as corrupt as they like because of very strict financial regulations with key systems. Emerging phenomena such as a group of people who secretly support the separatism movement in Indonesia and the clash of political interests in the context of the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres) show that the political process leads to "hoax politics". The political process of who gets power, when power is obtained, and how to obtain power runs on the corridor of political issues that prioritize interests. Data on hoaxes in Indonesia shows that socio-political and racial hoaxes are the highest. Percentage of political hoaxes from year 2
