In the series of activities during the Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) Student Sports Week (POM), held from November 24–29, 2025, students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) successfully recorded a number of remarkable achievements across various competition categories.
The Dean of FISIP UNIDA, Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, M.Si, expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the accomplishments of the students who have brought pride to the faculty in this university-level sports competition. These achievements serve as evidence of FISIP’s commitment to supporting students' potential and interests in both academic and non-academic fields.
“Congratulations to all students who have succeeded in achieving outstanding results at POM UNIDA 2025. May this accomplishment serve as a motivation to continue developing your potential and achieving even more,” she said.
The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FISIP UNIDA, Irma Purnamasari, S.Sos., M.Si, also expressed her appreciation for the students’ achievements. She emphasized that their success is the result of discipline, hard work, and commitment developed through academic activities as well as various supporting programs.
“These achievements demonstrate that FISIP students are capable of balancing academic excellence with accomplishments in sports. We are very proud of their dedication, and we hope this success will further strengthen the culture of achievement within FISIP,” she stated.
Similar sentiments were shared by Maria Fitriah, S.Sos., M.Si, the Vice Dean for Non-Academic Affairs of FISIP UNIDA. She stated that these achievements reflect the abilities and competitive spirit of students who have been continuously nurtured through various interest and talent development programs.
“We will continue to encourage students to actively participate in positive activities, including sports events such as POM UNIDA. We hope this positive momentum will foster greater participation in future events and inspire FISIP students to keep enhancing their potential,” she added.
Among the FISIP UNIDA students who achieved outstanding results were Rijal Mahendra, who secured 1st Place in Men’s Pencak Silat, followed by Salwa Maisya Shafiatunisa, who also earned 1st Place in the women’s category.
Additional achievements came from the Women’s Basketball competition. The FISIP team—consisting of Nova Dwi Rahma, Muthia Agnia Ridzky, Siti Sari Rahmawati, Chaerulita Amalia Sigit, and Andini Kusuma—secured 2nd Place. Meanwhile, in the Women’s Tarung Derajat 55–60 kg category, Nabilah Sabiq won 2nd Place, and in the same category, Syifa Ul Hasanah earned a Joint 3rd Place.
