The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) officially inaugurated the Executive Boards of its Student Organizations (Ormawa) for the 2025–2026 term on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

The student organizations inaugurated included the Student Representative Council (DPM) of FISIP, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of FISIP, the Communication Studies Student Association (HIMA KOM), and the Public Administration Student Association (HIMA AP).

The inauguration ceremony took place at Building C of UNIDA and was attended by university and faculty leaders, as well as the newly inaugurated members of FISIP’s student organizations.

As part of the inauguration series, the Dean’s Decree was read by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Irma Purnamasari, S.Sos., M.Si. The reading of the decree served as the official basis for the appointment of the FISIP Student Organization boards for the 2025–2026 term.

The inauguration procession was led directly by the Dean of FISIP, Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si. Following the inauguration, all members of the FISIP student organizations recited the Fakta Integritas Bertauhid, guided by the Chairperson of the FISIP Student Representative Council (DPM), Moh. Alvin Maulana, as a form of commitment in carrying out their organizational responsibilities.

The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, represented by Asep Ubaedillah, S.Sos., M.A.P, delivered remarks congratulating all newly inaugurated members of the FISIP student organizations. He emphasized that student organizations serve as strategic platforms for developing students’ capacities, both academically and non-academically.

“FISIP student organizations can become spaces for student development, including through programs such as PKM, PPMW, and PPK Ormawa. However, the most important thing is to maintain a strong commitment to graduating on time. I hope that the FISIP student organizations for the 2025–2026 period can become references and role models for student organizations in other faculties at Djuanda University,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Dean of FISIP, Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si, highlighted the importance of maintaining a balance between academic achievement and organizational activities for students involved in student organizations. She stressed that FISIP student organization members must be able to set a good example and demonstrate inclusivity toward other students.

“FISIP student organization administrators must be able to maintain a balance between academics and organizational activities, design well-structured work programs with proper time management, and uphold the faculty’s trust. May all administrators be granted strength, sincerity, and smoothness in carrying out their duties,” she said.

This momentum marks the beginning of the dedication of the DPM FISIP, BEM FISIP, HIMA KOM, and HIMA AP administrators in managing their organizations professionally, inclusively, and with integrity for the advancement of FISIP UNIDA.
