The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Djuanda University (UNIDA) has once again recorded an outstanding achievement through the success of Bella Aprilia, a student of the Public Administration Study Program, who has officially been selected as a Google Student Ambassador (GSA) 2026. This accomplishment serves as evidence that FISIP students are capable of competing and contributing in the fields of technology and digital literacy at the national level.

The Google Student Ambassador Program is a prestigious initiative that provides selected students with the opportunity to represent Google in promoting digital literacy within campus communities. Through this program, participants are encouraged to become agents of change in the productive and innovative use of technology.

Dean of FISIP UNIDA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Rahmawati, M.Si, expressed her appreciation for the achievement and stated that Bella’s accomplishment reflects the adaptability and quality of FISIP students in responding to the demands of the times.

“This achievement shows that FISIP students have the ability to excel across disciplines, including in technology and digital fields. We are proud that our students have proven that a social sciences background is not a limitation to achieving success at the national level,” she said.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Rahmawati, M.Si further emphasized that Bella’s success aligns with FISIP UNIDA’s commitment to encouraging students to actively develop multidisciplinary competencies, leadership, and skills relevant to the demands of the digital era.

“We hope this achievement will inspire all FISIP UNIDA students to continue developing their potential, dare to seize new opportunities, and actively contribute in various fields in line with the changing times,” she added.

Meanwhile, Bella Aprilia stated that her motivation for joining the program stemmed from her desire to prove that students from social sciences backgrounds can also thrive in the field of technology.

“As a FISIP student, I want to prove that anyone can learn and contribute in technology, not only IT students,” she said.

As a Google Student Ambassador 2026, Bella is committed to making a positive impact within the campus environment through various digital literacy enhancement initiatives, such as workshops, sharing sessions, and collaborative learning spaces for students.
