Students of the Communication Science Study Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and Computer Science (FISIPKOM) of Djuanda University (Unida) made another achievement. On this occasion, the 4th Semester Communication Science Students consisting of Uswatun Khasanah, Aji Santoso and Muthiara Sjahrani Umam (Trispektif Team) won second place in the Journalism Competition (Journalight) at the 2023 Communication Week Competition held by the Department of Communication, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), University of Indonesia (UI). The Dean of FISIPKOM Unida, Ginung Pratidina, expressed his gratitude and happiness for the achievements made by his students. "Alhamdulillah, our students achieved another achievement in the national scale communication competition. I congratulate Trispektif and thank you to all FISIPKOM lecturers who have guided so that they can produce students to make achievements," said Dean Ginung. Dean Ginung appreciated what the Trispektif Team had achieved because the process was not easy because it had to go through three phases, namely preliminaries, semi-finals and final presentations at FISIP UI. Dean Ginung hopes that students from the Public Administration, Communication Science and Computer Science Study Programs can continue to be enthusiastic about learning, have an impact on society and make achievements. Communication Week itself is a national scale communication competition held by the Department of Communication Science FISIP UI. The Communication Week competition consists of several competitions, namely Journalight (Journalism), Media Matters, PR Vaganza and Advertising War. Trispektif Team Leader Uswatun Khasanah expressed her gratitude for their achievements. In addition to the long and difficult process, this Unida Communication Science Student also managed to make achievements among two representatives of teams from State Universities, namely from the Surabaya State University (Unesa) Eunoia Team who won first place and the Bali Udayana University Biduan Team who won third place. "I'm really happy to win second place. The struggle we went through was not in vain. From starting to make features in the preliminaries. Continue to work on the brief for the semi-finals even though it was about Eid and finally entered the final and then presented at FISIP UI," said Uswatun after receiving the award at the UI Communication Week Awarding Day on Saturday (5/13/2023) at FISIP UI. Uswatun added, in the 2023 Communication Week Competition, Trispektif made a feature script about Disability groups who lack access and are often marginalized. Then in the semi-final and final rounds, all semi-finalists and finalists were asked to create a Newsgames concept or present news through games. "Our newsgame is called Dicebility, a monopoly-like game that invites the public to travel to disability-friendly places as a form of information. Then at each stop, participants will get questions or statements containing knowledge and will get point rewards if they successfully answer. After traveling one round, the point rewards will be accumulated and become donations to people with disabilities in the form of meat or fruit or milk or toys or books and other items that are useful for friends with disabilities," he added.
