The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) welcomed a visit from the UNIDA Institute for Research, Community Service, and Knowledge Development (LP3K) as part of the Roadshow on the Socialization of Guidelines and Mentoring for Research and Community Service Proposal Preparation under the BIMA Grant Program from Kemdiktisaintek RI for Fiscal Year 2026. The event, held on Monday (8/12/2025), was attended by FISIP lecturers as part of capacity building in preparing research and community service grant proposals.

In her opening remarks, the Dean of FISIP UNIDA, Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, M.Si, emphasized FISIP’s commitment to enhancing the quality of lecturers’ research and community service proposals. She stated that the mentoring provided by LP3K serves as an important reinforcement for FISIP lecturers in preparing proposals that align with national research policy directions.

"We hope all FISIP lecturers can maximize the use of this material and mentoring. This activity is a strategic opportunity to improve the quality of proposal submissions, especially those supporting the advancement of research downstreaming," she said.

In line with this, the Head of the Community Service Bureau at LP3K UNIDA, Danu Suryani, S.Sos., M.H, expressed appreciation to FISIP lecturers who have been active and consistent in participating in research and community service grant programs. He also shared UNIDA’s target achievements for the coming year.

"Our target in 2026 is to reach 100 proposal submissions. With good cooperation and thorough preparation, we hope to achieve this target," he stated.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Research and Research Clinic Bureau at LP3K UNIDA, Dr. Rusi Rusmiati Aliyyah, M.Pd, explained several key requirements in preparing BIMA grant proposals. For applied research schemes, journals used must be indexed in Scopus and relevant to the research topic, and proposals must involve partners, proven through formal letters of collaboration.

"The enthusiasm and dedication of FISIP lecturers are key in increasing both the number and quality of proposals. LP3K will continue to provide support by strengthening the research and community service ecosystem at UNIDA," she concluded.
