The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Djuanda has once again achieved an academic milestone with the addition of another lecturer holding a doctoral degree. A FISIP UNIDA lecturer, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ginung Pratidina, Dra., M.Si., officially earned a Doctorate in Management Science after completing the Open Examination of the Doctoral Program (S3) in Management Science at the Graduate School of Universitas Pakuan on Friday (22/5/2026).
The open examination was held at the Auditorium Hall of the Graduate School of Universitas Pakuan and was chaired by Prof. Dr.rer.pol. Ir. Didik Notosudjono, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN Eng., APEC Eng., as Chair of the Session, alongside Prof. Dr. Sri Setyaningsih, M.Si., as Secretary of the Session.
During the doctoral promotion session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ginung Pratidina, Dra., M.Si., defended a dissertation entitled “Strategies for Improving Lecturer Performance through Strengthening Organizational Culture, Leadership, and Work Motivation Programs (An Empirical Study on Private University Lecturers in Bogor Regency).”
The study examined the importance of strengthening organizational culture, leadership, and work motivation as strategies to improve lecturer performance in private universities. The dissertation also highlighted the importance of synergy between organizational governance and leadership in encouraging lecturer professionalism amid the evolving challenges of higher education.
Dean of FISIP UNIDA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si., expressed her pride and appreciation for the academic achievement attained by one of the faculty members.
According to her, this accomplishment is an important part of strengthening the quality of human resources and academic culture within FISIP UNIDA.
“Alhamdulillah, this achievement is a source of pride for the entire FISIP UNIDA family. The addition of lecturers holding doctoral degrees within FISIP is a strategic step toward strengthening academic quality, enhancing lecturer competence, and supporting the development of excellent and competitive education,” she stated.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si., also added that FISIP UNIDA continues to encourage lecturers to improve their academic competence and professionalism in order to deliver impactful learning, research, and community service.
“With the presence of doctoral-qualified lecturers, we hope that FISIP UNIDA will become more adaptive in responding to the challenges of education and the needs of society, while further strengthening an innovative and collaborative academic culture,” she added.
In the doctoral promotion examination, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ginung Pratidina, Dra., M.Si., was examined by a panel consisting of Dr. Nancy Yusnita, S.E., M.M. as Promotor, Dr. Widodo Sunaryo, MBA., S.Psi as Co-Promotor, Prof. Dr. Hari Gursida, CA., M.M., CPA as examiner, and Prof. Dr. Tjipto Sumadi, M.Si., M.Pd as external examiner.
