FISIP Unida Sends Off KKN Students as a Real Dedication to Encouraging Village Progress in Megamendung District

As an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Djuanda University (UNIDA) released students in the Opening Ceremony of the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) to directly engage in community service. This ceremony was held at the Megamendung District Office, Bogor Regency on Friday (25/07/2025).

The Community Service Program (KKN) not only aims to serve as a means of community service, but also as a form of collaboration between academics and the community in promoting regional development.

Previously, FISIP Unida students and Field Supervisors had received guidance during the send-off at the Unida Campus from Vice Rector 3 Prof. Dr. Rasmitadila to be able to apply academic knowledge from campus together with the community in villages as an implementation of the tri dharma of higher education, particularly community service.

Dean of FISIP UNIDA Dr. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., MSi., in her speech said that students need to develop skills in conducting problem analysis and finding solutions.

"Applying theories that have been obtained from lectures, how to develop student skills especially in analyzing problems and finding solutions to those problems," she said in her remarks.

Ridwan, S.Sos., as the Head of Megamendung District, welcomed the arrival of FISIP UNIDA students who will conduct KKN and hoped that students could gain valuable experience from this activity.

"Welcome to FISIP UNIDA students who will carry out KKN in the villages of Megamendung district, hopefully you can complete this activity well," he said.

The villages that will become the focus locations for FISIP Unida Student KKN are Sukamaju Village, Sukamahi Village, Kuta Village, Sukagalih Village, Sukaresmi Village, Cipayung Girang Village, Megamendung Village, Pasir Angin Village, and Sukakarya Village.
