The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) continues to strengthen its academic quality with the addition of a Professor within the faculty, reflecting its commitment to developing academic staff and advancing scholarly excellence.
One of the lecturers from the Communication Science Study Program, Prof. Dr. Agustina Multi Purnomo, S.P., M.Si, has officially been appointed as a Professor in the field of Sociology. This academic promotion was stipulated through the Decree of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1537/M/KPT.KP/2026, issued in Jakarta on January 19, 2026, and effective as of January 1, 2026.
The Dean of FISIP UNIDA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si, expressed her appreciation and pride for this academic achievement.
“The attainment of the Professor rank is the result of long-standing consistency, dedication, and academic integrity. We hope that Prof. Dr. Agustina Multi Purnomo will continue to contribute to strengthening scholarly traditions, advancing research, and improving the quality of education at FISIP UNIDA,” she stated.
Furthermore, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati emphasized that this achievement serves as a source of motivation for the academic community to continuously enhance the quality of the Tridharma of Higher Education. The presence of Professors within FISIP is expected to strengthen the faculty’s position in the development of social sciences, particularly Sociology and communication studies, at both national and international levels.
“The entire FISIP UNIDA family prays that Allah SWT grants His mercy and blessings, and that this Professorship mandate becomes a path for broad contributions to the advancement of science, religion, the nation, and the state,” she concluded.
