A lecturer of the Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA), Dr. Agustina Multi Purnomo, S.P., M.Si, has successfully secured funding from the Research and Innovation for Advanced Indonesia (RIIM) Program, Wave 10, under the Social and Humanities focus area. This achievement was formalized through the Decree of the Deputy for Research and Innovation Facilitation of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) Number 105/II.7/HK/2025 concerning the Recipients of the RIIM Competitive Program, Wave 10.
This accomplishment reflects the tangible contribution of FISIP UNIDA lecturers to the strengthening of national research and innovation, while reaffirming the role of academics in producing strategic studies aligned with the nation’s development needs.
The Dean of FISIP UNIDA, Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si, expressed her appreciation and congratulations for the achievement. According to her, this success represents the commitment of the FISIP UNIDA academic community in supporting the national research agenda and advancing knowledge with broad societal impact.
“This achievement demonstrates the active role of FISIP UNIDA lecturers in strengthening the national research ecosystem through applied scholarly work that is oriented toward community needs,” she stated.
Furthermore, she expressed her hope that this achievement would motivate other lecturers and researchers within FISIP UNIDA to continue enhancing the quality of research, scientific publications, and innovations that respond to national challenges and needs.
“We hope this success will serve as an inspiration for other lecturers and researchers to continue contributing through high-quality research and innovation,” she added.
In addition, Dr. Hj. Rita Rahmawati, Dra., M.Si offered her prayers that this achievement would bring lasting blessings and benefits.
“May Allah SWT continuously bestow His grace and blessings upon this achievement and bring the greatest benefits for the advancement of religion, the nation, and the state,” she expressed.
Under the RIIM Wave 10 funding scheme, Dr. Agustina Multi Purnomo, S.P., M.Si proposed a research project entitled “A Spatial Model of an Inclusive Halal Brand Index for Strengthening Inclusive and Globally Competitive Halal Culinary Tourism in Priority Destinations.” The research program is aimed at strengthening the halal tourism ecosystem through a spatial approach and the development of an inclusive halal brand index, in order to enhance the global competitiveness of Indonesia’s tourism destinations.
