Last Updated: 4 months ago

A lecturer of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA), Faisal Tri Ramdani, S.Sos., M.A.P., served as one of the respondents in a Media Discussion entitled “Towards One Year of Leadership of Rudy Susmanto–Ade Ruhandi in Bogor Regency”, organized by Vinus Forum on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, at the Visi Nusantara Maju Office, Cibinong, Bogor.

On the occasion, Faisal Tri Ramdani, S.Sos., M.A.P., who also serves as Head of the Public Administration Study Program at FISIP UNIDA, shared his views on various policies issued by the Bogor Regency Government. He highlighted that Bogor Regency has a very vast area with extraordinary potential, and that its population has even exceeded that of several provinces in Indonesia.

From a public policy perspective, Faisal Tri Ramdani, S.Sos., M.A.P. observed a transition toward Collaborative Governance, in which Bogor Regency seeks to align national programs with regional initiatives. He also emphasized one of the government’s missions, namely realizing good governance, with transparency and public participation as the key pillars.

“This requires strong efforts and synergy, as well as good coordination among regional government organizations (OPD). Even public participation becomes a core element and a primary focus. When we look at Bogor Regency’s vision, ‘Bogor Istimewa dan Gemilang’ (Bogor Exceptional and Glorious), that is an extraordinary key,” he stated.

Approaching one year of leadership under Regent Rudy Susmanto and Deputy Regent Ade Ruhandi, Faisal Tri Ramdani, S.Sos., M.A.P. assessed that many implemented policies are grounded in public benefit. He did not only speak about major and populist policies, but also appreciated policies that may appear simple yet have a tangible impact.

One of the highlighted programs was “Bogor Caang.” According to him, this is an outstanding policy that develops lighting infrastructure reaching even remote areas. Although its function is to provide illumination, the program also fosters a sense of security among the community.

“It may seem small, but he gave thought to it,” he said.

Faisal Tri Ramdani, S.Sos., M.A.P. also emphasized that no policy can satisfy all parties. Despite any potential dissatisfaction, he expressed hope that future policies of Regent Rudy Susmanto and Deputy Regent Ade Ruhandi will deliver substantial benefits to the community.

In closing, he invited all stakeholders—community members, academics, and the media—to carry out their respective roles in overseeing the Bogor Regency Government so that it may become even more exceptional and glorious in the future.

“The hope, of course, is that until the end of the term, Bogor can be developed to be even more advanced,” he concluded.
