The Communication Science Student Association (HIMAKOM) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Djuanda University (UNIDA), commemorated its anniversary by organizing a social service program titled GANNACOM ACALAPATI 2026 at the Panti Kaim Foundation on Saturday (June 13, 2026). Carrying the theme “One Togetherness, A Thousand Smiles,” the event reflected the students’ commitment to social responsibility through sharing and engaging with children at the orphanage.
GANNACOM ACALAPATI is an annual program organized by HIMAKOM as part of its anniversary celebration. This year’s event featured various interactive activities aimed at strengthening social bonds while bringing joy and happiness to the children of the orphanage.
Didah, Head of the Panti Kaim Foundation, expressed her appreciation for the initiative carried out by HIMAKOM FISIP UNIDA. According to her, sharing with orphans is a noble act that brings blessings to everyone involved.
“We hope that activities like this will continue to inspire greater social awareness and encourage the spirit of sharing with others,” she said.
Didah also prayed that the entire HIMAKOM family would be granted success, blessings, and smooth progress in carrying out their organizational programs.
HIMAKOM Chairperson, Fairuz Husna Lana, stated that the activity served as a meaningful opportunity for students to celebrate the organization’s anniversary while contributing positively to the community.
“We hope that our presence today can bring happiness to the children at the Panti Kaim Foundation and remind us all to continue fostering compassion and concern for others,” she remarked.
Meanwhile, the Chair of the GANNACOM ACALAPATI 2026 Organizing Committee, M. Faza Arif, expressed his gratitude to the Panti Kaim Foundation for the warm welcome extended to the HIMAKOM delegation.
“We would like to thank the entire Panti Kaim Foundation family for receiving and welcoming us with such warmth and enthusiasm,” he said.
He also expressed his hope that the Panti Kaim Foundation would continue to grow and be blessed in carrying out its role of nurturing and guiding the children under its care. In addition, he prayed that the children would grow into pious, accomplished individuals who could make positive contributions to society.
“We hope that through this activity, we can create a broader impact, not only for HIMAKOM members but also for the community that benefits from this program,” he added.
As the closing of the event, HIMAKOM presented donations and charitable assistance to the Panti Kaim Foundation. The contribution symbolized the students’ concern for others and reflected the organization’s commitment to fostering empathy, solidarity, and the spirit of mutual cooperation.
